way back in the day when daughter dearest was tiny (12 years ago), i was one of the working tired. omg. i think that alone is reason to not have more. though babies are cute and cuddly. and wonderfully magical creatures. reconsiders…

so, i already know what i’m wearing tomorrow. an orange t with a black raven on it and probably a black long t underneath as there was ice on the windshield this morning. i haven’t decided which pants or shoes to wear yet.

today was/is payday. my first at this new job. i need to remember to bring my laptop to work tomorrow as a co-worker mentioned that it is possible to get required information so that i can do a bit of work from home. ~whew~ that will make some parts of this job easier.. namely, getting out of here on time.

i need to not be a lazy bum.  when i’m lazy, i put on a couple of pounds.  and that is the exact opposite of what i’m going for.  grrrrrrr…

i fell head over heels in love with my boyfriend via IM back in the spring of 2001. it all began in january as just two people who happened to be online at the same time and then in march of that same year (after losing touch for about 6 weeks), we started seeking each other out more.. though if pushed i would say that he sought me out first. he even said ilu first. a full month before i got up the nerve.

hahaha… i even had a mental picture of him from IMing and then talking on the phone before we ever exchanged pictures. and so, i fell in love with his mind and voice first. his thoughts and ideas though different from my own are the right match for me. he’s exactly what i didn’t realize i wanted… though i did pray for god to bring the person he had picked out for me into my life. and when we clicked, i just knew. though i did let him convince me.

sorry for boring you with my past but that horoscope brought back memories. and, no, i’m not IMing with anyone else. only business-related IMing occurs these days. though with nanowrimo starting on the 1st.. nah, that will be just corresponding on novel-related stuff. so, yeah. work.

i say: ain’t that the truth.  after a talk with my new co-worker yesterday, i feel more at peace with my bf’s decision to wait 2-3 years.  prior to that convo, i was extremely sad & virtually heartbroken.  it’s amazing what a convo with a neutral third party can do when not all the details are revealed.  just talking about others and my own issues diminished considerably.  thank goodness.

a bit ago, i caught up with slick. he’s a hoot. if you don’t know who i’m talking about, then you simply must check him out. i’m sure you’ll add him to your faves/blogroll after reading an entry (or less).

the new job offered free flu shots and so, i got one this morning.  the injection site is still causing me pain.  though i didn’t take any pain killers prior to the shot.  i do need to take something before supper.

i watched a bit of “charmed” season 8 on dvd and now i’m working. well, about to get started. i ran a few errands this morning. i feel productive already.

well, it seems that due to the the crazy heavy cloud cover that it didn’t get very cool last night ’cause the temperature @ 6am is 71 degrees. and the high today is only expected to reach 76. with rain in the forecast all day long. and from what I understand the rain is a good thing due to a drought this area has been having…

ya know what? that made sense to my sleepy brain so… don’t even.

daughter talked to her grama last night. and we left messages for both of her friends. i’m going to mail off several postcards today.

I wonder what my holiday schedule is going to be like. oh well.. time enough to pursue that train of thought. no point in going there now.

i’m going to be one busy bee today with editing, cleaning, uploading, and so much more. fun. not!

ok, i’m off to find breakfast.

well, not in the getting paid sense.. at least not yet.  but i do need to get back to work with regard to my online businesses.

today is daughter’s second day of school.  i need to get the desk & table legs out of the minivan and set both of those up.  i also need to find the cup holder screw nail thingies and get a couple of hanging lamps up and lighting their respective rooms.  neither bedroom has a light fixture in place.  yep, sucks.

i also need to call the various private schools in the area and find out the costs and requirements for admittance.

oh and i need to be in bed by 830p so that i can be asleep by 9p.  east coast time.  yep, i’m old.  or it could be because i’m training myself to be up @ 430a for the job that starts on the 8th.  yep, that’s what it is.  not the age thing. 

bebe is asleep in my lap at the moment.  of course, this is after near hysterics when daughter was getting ready for school earlier this morning.  and no, daughter doesn’t need to be at school before dawn.  but like i said earlier… we’re trying to get into our routine.

so far this morning, i’ve already changed bebe’s crate.. and charlie’s litter box.  oh the joys… of both.  uh, yeah, not!

i’m hungry.  ~tummy is growling~

i’m mailing off the ticket (with money) to pay for the parking space at the airport.

the weather has been very cool lately.  at least at night.  and last night, daughter went for a swim.  i was going to.. but the water was too cold for my liking.  anyway… daughter went in and i lounged.. not long before time was up, i looked at the clouds and saw the threat of rain.  plus… daughter said that when she took bebe out for a walk this morning that there wasn’t any dew on the grass… which dad says means that it is going to rain today.

ok, did that just make sense to anyone but me?  ~shakes head~

anyway…

i need to find something to eat for breakfast and move bebe to her crate.  probably not in that order.

a long call to tech support yielded fabulous results.  my modem is now fully functioning + my laptop is finally wireless in just about every way.  i still need to be corded for electricity but that isn’t a huge problem as this place has a multitude of outlets. 

we found the necessary paperwork to allow daughter dearest to be enrolled in school tomorrow.  YEAH!!!!!!!!!

it is so very chilly here. I’m not used to this weather. last week in texas, I broke a sweat well before lunchtime and this week… the temperatures won’t even be anywhere close to that. ~shakes head~ I suppose the cool air is nice & I have quite a few jackets to wear.

the grrrrrrrrr of the day comes in the form of not being able to find daughter’s important papers for school. and so that will delay the first day of school for her. I hope my mom knows where to find the necessary documents. I know we brought ‘em with us but I have no clue where they are @ the moment.

I need to update my time zone to east coast time.

*yawns* I woke up @ 430am & went to sleep last night @ 9pm.

bebe the dog & charlie the cat are doing well.

I wish the modem was easier to configure. I worked on it yesterday without success.

I hope my mom calls me back soon.

the u-haul is unloaded & has been returned.  the minivan still has a bit of stuff in it.
